Shipment from FCA Derince Factory
Cargo expert Schneider Switzerland has delivered an outsized transformer and accessories from Turkey to Qatar.
Scope of work included installation and customs clearance with duty exemption under DDP terms for a regulating transformer weighing 177.5 tonnes. The cargo was transported from a FCA Derince factory in Turkey to the jobsite foundation in Qatalum, Qatar.
“The entire shipment, including various accessories totalled 208 tonnes and 379 cubic meters,” a spokesperson for Schneider said.
Registered in Basel, Switzerland, Schneider Group is a medium-sized international transport company and a member of the WCA network.
