Sealand Project Line Eyes Expansions

Singapore-Based Firm to Launch Offices in East Africa, Malaysia

Sealand Project Line is planning to expand its operations this year into East Africa and Malaysia, just one year after establishing bases in Dubai and Ho Chi Minh City.

The Singapore-headquartered operator told Breakbulk it was looking to set up offices in both locations, and would focus on the dismantling and relocation of plants and machinery and project logistics solutions for industries such as transport, construction, steel, cement and fertilizers.

The company has already executed a number of large-scale projects in those regions, it said.

“Sealand Group over the years has steadfastly delivered successful projects and built a reputation for itself,” said Sanwar Kanoria, a shareholder and member of Sealand’s management team.

“We have grown our business and believe now it is time for us to increase our geographic presence to offer bigger and better services to our customers. And so, we will be looking to open many more owned offices and build exclusive partnerships over the coming three years. We are excited about the prospects and opportunities that the future will hold.”

Sealand Project Line specializes in the transport of bulk, breakbulk and project cargo.

The company's Hamburg office was launched in 2015.

Sealand Project Line will be exhibiting at Breakbulk Middle East 2023, taking place on 13-14 February at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
