(Europe) Shipment from Bilbao, Spain
Cargo firm Tschudi Logistics has delivered bridge parts for a new crossing near Gothenburg, Sweden.
The Hisings Bridge project required transport of 42 massive elements for the vertical-lift bridge connecting central Gothenburg with Hisingen city. A team from Tschudi oversaw delivery from Bilbao, Spain, and all loading and discharge of the oversized elements en route.
“Tschudi continues to be involved in the project, currently by delivering other parts for the bridge … It will be followed by several other shipments. The bridge is expected to be completed in 2021,” a spokesperson for Tschudi said.
Registered in Oslo, Norway, Tschudi is a member of the Project Logistics Alliance, which connects small and medium-sized project freight forwarders worldwide.
