Wangfoong Delivers MTR Rails
Project cargo firm Wangfoong Transportation has delivered a shipment of breakbulk rails from the Hong Kong Port Terminal to the MTR project.
The time-critical shipment involved moving the outsized rails within one week using heavy-lift barges and tugs. The rails will be used in construction of the US$12.4 billion Metro upgrade project.
“Wangfoong rails more than 28 meters in length and delivered them to the receiver’s berth for overland transportation to the final jobsite,” a spokesperson for Wangfoong said.
Based in Hong Kong, Wangfoong is a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium which represents freight forwarders and breakbulk companies worldwide.
