BV Shipping Moves Lomé Machinery


Equipment for ‘Moroni-Foumbouni’ Project

Freight forwarder BV Shipping has transported a set of construction machines and generators at the port of Lomé in Togo.

The breakbulk project involved movement of Caterpillar-D6 R2 bulldozer, a Bomag - BW 219 compactor, a Caterpillar – 950H wheel loader, a Caterpillar - 140 K motor grader,  Caterpillar - 320 DLN crawler excavator, a Caterpillar - M320 D2 wheel excavator, and Perkins 30KVA transformer.

“The final destination of the machines is Moroni, the Union of the Comoros where they will be used for the reconstruction of the National Road 2 ‘Moroni-Foumbouni,’ ” a spokesperson for BV Shipping said.
