He is actively supporting the group worldwide, but his base is Vienna in Austria. ANDRITZ Hydro is one of the globally leading suppliers of electromechanical equipment and services for hydropower plants in the dynamically growing global market for renewable energy. We are focusing on turnkey projects providing end-to-end solutions for our clients.

Andreas is leading and developing a diverse and dynamic global logistics organization of over 100 employees. is role involves the strategic planning and alignment of logistics operations, including inbound, outbound and intercompany logistics. He focuses on identifying optimization opportunities, implementing efficient structures and processes, and managing strategic logistics and supply chain projects. By actively participating in company-wide performance and supply chain initiatives, he works to synchronize information and material flows, integrate and digitize systems, and harmonize processes on a global scale. He develops logistics KPIs and PPIs, ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations, and establish logistics guidelines and standards as part of our global governance. Andreas previously served as Global Director Logistics - Supply Chain Management for SMS Group.

With over ten years of experience in project logistics for plant engineering, I'm a passionate and driven leader who strives to deliver excellence and innovation in the global logistics sector. As the Global Head of Logistics at thyssenkrupp Uhde, I manage and coordinate a strong logistics organization, covering a wide range of Uhde technologies and solutions. I'm motivated by the challenge and opportunity to optimize logistics processes, integrate logistics service providers, and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of complex projects. I value collaboration, diversity, and learning, and I seek to empower and support my team and partners with my analytical skills and logistics engineering expertise. In my current role, I have been involved in several international logistics projects for plant engineering, including EPC projects in Saudi Arabia, Brunei, Hungary, Egypt, USA etc. I'm responsible for the complete logistics process from the supplier to the customer, as well as the planning, management, control, and reporting of SCM activities. Through these projects, I have demonstrated my ability to handle complex and diverse logistics challenges, deliver high-quality results, and exceed customer expectations. I have also developed strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and fostered a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Thomas Dahmen started his career in the transport and logistic business at a Dutch/ German Trucking company in Venlo, Netherlands. He then moved to a French/ German forwarding company in Düsseldorf, Germany and Paris, France, as well as studied international Management ‘Betriebswirtschaft’ in Neuss, Germany.

In  1990, he started at Siempelkamp in Germany, a multinational supplier for machinery and equipment, at their headquarters in Krefeld, Germany, and soon took over the responsibility for all logistical operations. Since 2010, he has been Managing Director of the Siempelkamp Logistics & Service GmbH, the after sales service and logistics provider of the Siempelkamp group. Siempelkamp is a global active technology supplier with a focus on three main divisions: machine and plant engineering, foundry technology, and engineering and services. Siempelkamp machine and plant engineering is a systems supplier of press lines and complete plants for the wood-based panel industry, the metal forming industry as well as the composite and rubber industry.

The Siempelkamp foundry is one of the world’s largest hand-molding foundry producing castings with a weight of up to 320 t (353 US tons). Siempelkamp engineering and service is a specialist for dismantling nuclear facilities and a supplier of transport and storage vessels for nuclear waste.
