C.H. Robinson Delivers Seismic Buggies


Cargo Shipped to Uzbekistan

Freight forwarder C.H. Robinson has delivered a set of seismic buggies from Texas to Uzbekistan.

The breakbulk cargo comprised 12 buggies and two containers of equipment that were shipped via Russia. The combined weight of the shipment was 378 tonnes and removable goose neck trailers were used to allow direct transport to the Port of Houston.

“Once the equipment reached the port in Russia, the cargo was lifted out of the vessel’s hold and driven onto flatbed railcars using ramps and transported from St. Petersburg to two different railway stations in Uzbekistan, a journey which took 15 days,” a spokesperson for C.H. Robinson said.
