Cosmatos Offloads Chios Windmills

Shipping services group Cosmatos has delivered a set of 12 windmills to Mesta port in Greece.

A team from Cosmatos oversaw Daily Toolbox meetings with all personnel involved, as well as HSE tutorial to stevedoring union. Access restrictions were also put in place during the offloading operation on Chios island.

“The Cosmatos projects team played an active role at all discharging operations to ensure that all steps were completed to the client’s full satisfaction,” a spokesperson for Cosmatos said.

Based in Northern Greece, Cosmatos Shipping Services provides project cargo and freight forwarding solutions worldwide and is a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium.
