Megalift to Move Jimah East Components

Logistics group Megalift Malaysia has been appointed to transport breakbulk cargo from Port Klang to the Jimah East power plant project.

The contract involves delivery of two sets of generator stators and transformers which will be unloaded at the port and transferred to barge for transport to Port Dickson in the state of Negeri Sembilan.

“The generator stator and transformer are the heart of the power plant, a project estimated to be completed by the end of 2019,” a spokesperson for Megalift said.

Based in Selangor, Malaysia, Megalift is a member of the XL Projects alliance, which connects breakbulk operators in more than 80 countries worldwide.
