CKE600 and SCX700s from Kuwait
Freight forwarder Al Bader has transport three crawler cranes from Kuwait to Singapore.
The outsized consignment included one Kobelco CKE600 crane and two Hitachi SCX700 crane. Cargo was transported to port on low-bed trailers with cross-stuffing to MAFI trailers prior to shipment by roll-on, roll-off vessel.
“Despite the large dimensions of the cargo and an aggregate weight of 120 tonnes, the experienced project cargo specialist team at Al-Bader Shipping engaged in a detailed survey of the cargo at site, proposed different logistics solutions to the customer, planned for the best fit solutions and executed the transportation of the three cranes within a week,” a spokesperson for the firm said.
Based in Kuwait, Al Bader is a member of the Project Cargo Network, which connects breakbulk handlers in more than 100 countries.
