42 Structural Elements for Pavilion
Breakbulk specialist Al Faris has transported a cargo of structural steel elements for the Expo 2020 event in the UAE.
The project involved transport and installation of 42 steel elements along with all surveys, planning, technical support documentation, execution plans and schedules. Al Faris provided lifting for items up to 46 meters in length and up to 55 tonnes in weight.
“After careful consideration and study, the Liebherr 1,000-ton crawler crane was used due to the long working radius requirement for the installation. For the final stage, our Liebherr 750-ton all terrain mobile crane was used to lift and install the oculus structure at the center of UAE pavilion roof top,” a spokesperson for Al Faris said.
Based in Dubai Industrial City, UAE, Al Faris provides lifting and transport services, integrated with best practices in QHSE, and is an exhibitor at Breakbulk Middle East.
