(Asia) Delivery to Jakarta
Logistics firms Allfort and FLS Projects have collaborated to deliver a crawler crane and parts from Thailand to Indonesia.
The outsized cargo comprised the main body of a Sumitomo Crawler Crane and 23 packages of weighing more than 209 tonnes. Cargo was loaded in Laem Chabang Port behalf of a Japanese client and shipped to Jakarta.
“This customer had been declined from several forwarders in Japan, because they do not have a partner that can arrange such cargo. Thankfully due to the XLP Network a suitable partner was quickly established,” a spokesperson for Allfort said.
Allfort and FLS Projects are members of the industry association XLP Projects, which represents breakbulk handlers worldwide.
