Project cargo carrier Abnormal Load Services has transported a cargo of wind power equipment from Germany to Denmark for an offshore project.
The consignment included rotorstacks measuring up to 9 meters LONG and pieces weighing up to 170 tonnes. Cargo was loaded in Bremerhaven Labradorhafen and delivered to Esbjerg Denmark.
“Full charter of around 4,500-5,000 Freight tonnes was arranged by the ALS operations team in Germany,“ a spokesperson for the firm said.
Abnormal Load Services is a subsidiary of Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics and operates offices in UAE, Belgium, Finland, Germany, Holland, Italy, Romania, Spain, and the UK. The firm provides logistics solutions for the rail, construction, mining, tunnelling, oil and gas, offshore, and renewable energy sectors.
