Turbine, Generator and Accessories Delivered
Logistics firm Altius has completed the first phase of delivery of equipment for the YPF Cogeneration Plant in La Plata, Argentina.
The breakbulk project involved shipment of 3,690 tonnes of cargo, from multiple origins, including Houston, Amberes, Vietnam, Korea, Canada, and Malaysia. All equipment was delivered to the job site in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
“The cargo delivered was a turbine, generator, and relevant accessories [and] Altius's scope of work included FOB at the port of origin, till CFR at the place of delivery,” a spokesperson for Altius said.
Altius Argentina is a member of the Project Logistics Alliance, which represents around 200 pre-qualified project forwarders in 114 countries.
