Freight carrier Aqua Global Logistics has transported a batch of construction equipment from the Port of Sohar to a work site in Barka, Oman.
The breakbulk consignment involved 11 units, weighing a total of 152 tonnes, and measuring more than 570 cubic meters. Cargo included several tractors and outsized construction machines.
“Aqua Global's scope of work not only included transportation using low beds, but also import discharge supervision, customs clearance, and loading supervision,” a spokesperson for the firm said.
Based in Bahrain and Qatar, Aqua Global Logistics is a member of the Project Logistics Alliance which represents pre-qualified freight forwarding companies in more than 80 countries.
