ARC Endeavor, operated by American Roll-On Roll-Off Carrier (ARC), has delivered a critical shipment of mixed military hardware to the Arctic Circle as NATO forces gear up for a high-stakes multinational defense exercise.
The U.S.-flagged large car truck carrier (LCTC) offloaded 252 pieces of cargo in Narvik, Norway, after sailing from Charleston, South Carolina. The shipment supports Swift Response 25, a large-scale annual drill designed to test the rapid deployment capabilities of allied airborne forces.
“The deployment of ARC Endeavor to the Port of Narvik exemplifies our dedication to strengthening global defense readiness through strategic sealift operations,” said Chris Heibel, chief operating officer at ARC.
The ARC Endeavor boasts a 21-foot-high stern opening and a stern ramp capable of supporting 320-ton payloads. It has space for more than 7,500 vehicles – making it one of the most militarily capable vessels in the U.S. commercial fleet, ARC said.
Headquartered in Florida, ARC specializes in delivering government-focused logistics and shipping services worldwide. Together with its U.S. affiliates, the company owns and operates the largest U.S.-flagged RoRo fleet.
These vessels are American owned, operated, and crewed, and provide essential RoRo and intermodal transport solutions tailored to the needs of the Department of Defense, other U.S. government agencies, and commercial clients.
ARC will be exhibiting at Breakbulk Americas 2025 in Houston.
