Some 15 Modules Weighing 160 Tonnes Apiece Transported From China

AST International Transport has handled a shipment of heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) systems for a 550-megawatt (MW) natural gas combined cycle power plant project in Uzbekistan.
Some 15 modules weighing 160 tonnes apiece and measuring 27 meters long were transported from Shanghai to the city of Jizzakh in central Uzbekistan. In total, more than 15,000 cubic meters of equipment were moved from China, South Korea, India, the Netherlands and Germany.
The transport operations were completed safely and on time, the company said.
“Supporting the growth of our clients’ businesses and the industries they operate in has always been one of our core priorities,” said Emrah Tetik, founder and managing director of AST.
“We have been working for many years with national and international companies across diverse industries. We have also built strong partnerships across key international markets.
