Three Floating Units Planned
Saudi Arabian shipping group Bahri has signed an agreement with the Saudi government to establish three floating stations to desalinate water in the Kingdom.
The 20-year agreement will involve extensive breakbulk transport for the construction of each station, which will have a capacity of 50,000 cubic meters per day. The project is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2020.

Bahri is one of the largest maritime services provider in the world and, alongside a fleet of breakbulk vessels also operates several double-hull very large crude carriers (VLCCs), chemical carriers, dry bulkers and multipurpose roll-on, roll-off vessels.
