Out-of-guage Cargo of Turbines
Cargo handler BAJ Freight and Logistics Ltd. has delivered a shipment of out-of-guage equipment to a oil and gas project in Aboadze in Western Ghana.
The consignment involved gas turbines, modules, steam turbines and accessories. With items ranging in weight from 20 to 230 tonnes. Cargo was delivered on behalf of a consortium including METKA, Amandi and GE.
The firm is the latest to join the Project Cargo Network in Ghana. Aloongside its head office in Tema, the firm brings two branches and port facilities in Takoradi as well as a branch at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra.
"As we are strongly invested in project cargo and heavy lift, the PCN platform has a wide range of opportunities that we look forward to tapping into … we operate at all entry points across the length and breadth of Ghana with a current staff strength of over 200,” said Berttina Waddle of BAJ.
