Industrial Presses Weighing 15 Tonnes
Heavy-lift firm Barrus Projects has transported a set of industrial presses with ancillary equipment from South Korea to Russia.
The out-of-gauge cargo included a MC2-500, MC2-600, and MC2-800 press, the largest of which weighed more than 61 tonnes. All goods were loaded in Incheon seaport in South Korea and delivered to Ruza.
“Barrus Projects team performed unloading and loading works in the seaport of Saint-Petersburg, followed by delivery of the oversized cargo to the destination point via federal motorways,” a spokesperson for Barrus said.
Based in Russia, Barrus is a member of the Project Logistics Alliance, or PLA, for Kazakhstan and Russia. The PLA is a breakbulk association which connects pre-qualified cargo carriers in 88 countries.
