The office, which is fully operational, will focus on local oil and gas and chemicals markets, Aditya Menon, Blue Bell Shipping’s commercial manager, told Breakbulk. The office has been manned mainly by Saudi nationals, although the company has relocated some of its existing team members.

The forwarder currently has offices in the UAE, Iraq, Turkey, the UK, and the US.

“Blue Bell Shipping has been active in the Saudi market for many years however we have only now opened our own offices in Saudi,” Menon said. “Having our own people and presence in country will enable us to better serve or existing clients while also exploring the local KSA market further. This also ensures we deliver the same service level that our clients have grown used to in our other locations within KSA.”

Blue Bell Shipping was established in the UAE in 1987, since when the company has expanded its forwarding operations to include project shipments, air and sea charters, rig moves, dangerous goods, and reefer cargo.
