Heavy-transport firm BNSF Houston Project Group has completed delivery of a mixed material storage system form the U.S. to the Ukraine.
The breakbulk consignment included a conveyor weighing 29 tonnes and three silos weighing 21 tonnes each. The shipment in total weighed 600 tonnes.
“The cargo was transported from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to the Port of Houston and loaded onto the BBC Lisbon for the voyage to Odessa, Ukraine,” a spokesperson for BNSFL said.
BNSF Houston Project Group is a subsidiary of freight railroad operator Burlington Northern Santa Fe, headquartered in Flower Mound, Texas. The firm is a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium, a global network connecting breakbulk firms around the world.
