Bohnet Moves Haldensleben Tubes

Delivery Required Barge, Road Transport

Cargo specialist Bohnet has delivered a set of oversized tubes for a construction project in Haldensleben, Germany.

The shipment comprised nine tubes, measuring up to 4 meters in diameter and 43 meters long and weighing up to 103.5 tonnes. Scope of work included road transport, crane handling as well as transshipping.

“For further transportation by barge, Bohnet put into use their own crawler crane, which is permanently stationed in the port of Haldensleben, to handle the loading onto barge in a single stroke,” a spokesperson for the firm said.

Based in Germany, Bohnet is a member of the Project Logistics Alliance, which connects around 200 pre-qualified project forwarders in 114 countries.
