Cargolux Expands in Japan With Narita Link
Freight airline Cargolux has launched a weekly service connecting Luxembourg Airport and Narita International Airport in Japan.
The new cargo link be operated via Cargolux’s Boeing 747-8 freighter under the scope of a cooperation agreement with Nippon Cargo Airlines. The service flies direct to Narita from Luxembourg with the return flight routed via Incheon and Novosibirsk.
“Japan has long played an important role in Cargolux’s Far East network and we are looking forward to supporting Japan’s trade lanes to and from Europe,” said Richard Forson, CEO of Cargolux.
Cargolux is one of the largest scheduled all-cargo airlines in Europe and operates a fleet of 25 747 freighters. The group is headquartered in Luxembourg.
