CET Logistics has overseen the successful delivery of a large lifeboat destined for an offshore oil rig in Brazil.

The oversized vessel was transported on an Antonov AN124 from Hong Kong to Galeão International Airport in Rio de Janeiro, where a CET Logistics-owned vehicle was in position to receive and deliver the cargo to its final destination.

“CET Logistics managed the entire operation, from collection at the supplier in Qingdao, through customs procedures in Hong Kong, to international freight, customs clearance in Brazil and road transport for final delivery to the client,” the company said.

“This was a true end-to-end solution. Despite the local holidays and ceremonies in Hong Kong, the mission was successfully completed on time, meeting the critical operational needs of the client.”

Rio de Janeiro-headquartered CET Logistics provides multimodal logistics solutions to industries including oil and gas, renewables, technology and automotive. The company also boasts offices in Houston and Rotterdam.
