Freight forwarder C.H. Robinson has transported a cargo of boiler pressure parts from various locations in Europe to Alberta, Canada.
The breakbulk consignment involved six pieces from Sweden, weighing more than 65 tonnes each, and six pieces from Finland, each weighing more than 79 tonnes. Cargo was transported to the Port of Antwerp by road before onward shipment by ocean vessel to Texas.
“After a month on the water, the cargo arrived at the Port of Houston where C.H. Robinson’s local Houston team took over supervising the unloading from the vessel onto truck trailers,” a spokesperson for C.H. Robinson said.
