CJ Logistics, FESCO Sign MoU
Breakbulk specialists CJ Logistics and FESCO have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on “northern logistics” via Russia's Trans-Siberian Railway.
The agreement will see Korean firm CJ Logistics partner with Russia’s 10th-largest cargo train operator to cooperate in project logistics across Eurasia, including sharing information and winning new orders.
“We hope that cooperation between the two companies will be promoted so that the difficulties of Korean companies trying to utilize continental logistics such as TSR and Far East Port will be resolved and our company will be able to establish a foothold in the northern region,” said Song Young-gil, chairman of CJ Logistics.
The two firms plan to discuss CJ development and cooperation of facilities related to Pesco and Zarubino port and terminal as well as large-scale plant construction projects in the CIS region.
