250-tonne Units to Mumbai
Transport services provider Damani Shipping has delivered two heavy-lift packages from Korea to Mumbai.
The cargo involved two units weighing 46 tonnes each and was loaded for ocean freight on a weekly time-bound container service in Korea. Project scope included import custom clearance, port handling, and transport to delivery site.
“Our import team had pre-positioned the vehicles for a direct delivery prior vessel arrival and kept all the documents ready for smooth clearance of the cargo. This enabled us to quickly deliver the cargo to job site,” a spokesperson for Damani said.
Based in Mumbai, Damani Group is one of India's oldest commercial shipping operators and a member of the WCA network which connects freight forwarders in 188 countries globally.
