Blasthole Drilling Equipment Delivered Via Vladivostok
Project cargo handler DAS Global Logsitik has transported six oversized drilling machines from Florida to Russia.
The breakbulk machines were designed for drilling blastholes in coal mines and were delivered to the Amur region in Russia via Vladivostok port.
“[Amur] is one of the most remote and far-distant regions of Russia facing tough climate conditions. DAS arranged delivery of the cargo via special railway carriages for heavy and out-of-gate cargo supported with escort service,” a DAS spokesperson said.
Based in Russia, DAS Global provides project cargo handling and advanced monitoring via GPRS and CCTV devices for out-of-gauge and heavy cargo. The firm is a member of the WCA breakbulk association.
