De Bock Ship Management Inks Deal for Two New Vessels

New Additions To Support Cebo Holland’s Barite and Bentonite Shipments

By Simon West

De Bock Ship Management has taken over the management of two vessels belonging to Cebo Marine, bringing its total managed fleet to 17 ships.

Contracts for the Lelie C and Rhoon C were signed in early February, with ship management officially commencing on 10 February. The first vessel entered dry dock shortly after for its 25-year special survey, with the second vessel scheduled to follow.

The vessels are operated on behalf of Cebo Holland and are used to transport barite and bentonite for the company’s clients.

Cynthia Everduin, operations director at De Bock Maritiem, told Breakbulk that although the vessels appear as standard coasters externally, their holds are fitted with internal silos designed specifically for dry bulk cargo.

De Bock Ship Management, with offices in the Netherlands, Belgium and Indonesia, will oversee full operations including crew, technical, safety and quality management.

De Bock Ship Management will be exhibiting at Breakbulk Europe 2025.
