deugro Expands Digital Platform to Include CO2 Tracker

Visiotrack Users Can View Emissions of Shipments at Press of a Button

Germany-based project logistics specialist deugro has expanded its visiotrack digital platform to help shippers and customers cut their carbon footprint.

The new feature allows users of visiotrack, deugro’s web-based supply chain management system, to view the emissions of their shipments worldwide at any time at the press of a button.

The carbon impact of a trade lane can be displayed via a widget within the visiotrack’s dashboard, giving users the opportunity to record, report and identify emission reduction targets and optimize routings, the company said.

The upgrade will help boost the transparency of shipments to meet the demands of the market, governments and consumers, it added.

“As part of deugro’s commitment to providing innovative logistics solutions for our clients to support global CO2 reduction, and in line with our social responsibility for a net-zero future, the newest feature of the deugro visiotrack tool is another important step towards achieving environmental sustainability,” said Mario Hess, global head of customer solutions at deugro visiotrack.

deugro launched visiotrack in 2020, with an app-based version for IOS and Android introduced in March.

According to the forwarder, the system gives shippers and customers a complete overview of all data at all times, controllable through customized dashboards.

deugro will be exhibiting at Breakbulk Europe 2022, taking place on 17-19 May at the Rotterdam Ahoy conference centre, Rotterdam. Click below to register for the conference.
