Steel Beams Moved for Bridge Construction Project
Cargo expert Egyptian Global Logistics has transported steel beams for a bridge construction project in Egypt.
The six beams were moved to the east and west banks of the Nile as part of the El-Wasta bridge project. EGL utilized Goldhofer 12 axle lines turntable for the move.
“In the assembly area, loading was performed using two cranes with a lifting capacity of 300 tons each, which required performing critical manoeuvres for loading by using a 6 by 6 turntable,” a spokesperson for EGL explained.
Based in Alexandria on Egypt’s Mediterranean coast, EGL is a subsidiary of Kadmar Group, which specializes in shipping services, breakbulk handling and tranposrt logistics services worldwide.
