EGL Transports Concrete Beams
Cargo carrier Egyptian Global Logistics has delivered a set of concrete beams as part of a metro construction project in Cairo.
The cargo comprised 44-meter beams weighing 130 tonnes and required traffic to be stopped for three hours in one of the busiest zones in Cairo. A team from EGL utilized 12 axle lines of Goldhofer transporter for the move.
“The transport of the beams wasn’t smooth as part of it was partially off road the truck overcame distance, obstacles and tight schedules,” a spokesperson for EGL said.
Based in Egypt, EGL is a subsidiary of Kadmar Group and a member of the XL Projects network.
