Breakbulk carrier Express Global Logistics has shipped a cargo of exhaust silencers from Mumbai to Cambodia.
The project scope covered all port handling and coordination with the shipper and clearing agent for heavy-lift operations. In total, 12 BG Silencers, were moved alongside 50 SOC containers.
“The challenge was to adhere to the strict time lines in regards to the spot chartered vessel, booked on Jan. 5, 2020, and cargo loading was to start on Jan. 8 because of the laycan of the vessel,” a spokesperson for EXG said.
Headquartered in Mumbai, EXG provides multisurface logistics, breakbulk transport and heavy equipment rentals throughout India. The firm is a member of the cargo forwarding network the Worldwide Project Consortium.
