EXG Delivers Tianjin Generator

Breakbulk carrier Express Global Logistics has transported an AC generator and eight packages of accessories from Bangalore to Tianjin, China.

The over-dimensional shipment consisted of 144 tonnes of equipment, with the largest items measuring up to 7 meters long and weighing 67 tonnes. The cargo was moved from Bangalore to Chennai port before being transshipped for ocean freight to Tianjin.

“One of the challenging complexities provided by our customer was the short time frame for execution of the project,” a spokesperson for EXG said.

Headquartered in Mumbai, EXG provides multisurface logistics, breakbulk transport and heavy equipment rentals throughout India. The firm is a member of the WCA cargo forwarding network.
