First Look at Emerger's Mobile App for Project Cargo Shippers

Features reflect the creators' experience as EPCs and forwarders

UTC-Overseas-1024x500.pngEmerger will release a mobile version of its cloud-based logistics platform by the end of the second quarter of 2026, giving project cargo shippers real-time shipment visibility from their phones and extending the platform’s capabilities across every stage of transport.

The mobile app adds live GPS tracking for road shipments to Emerger’s existing desktop capabilities for ocean container, breakbulk, road, barge, rail and airfreight moves. For shippers managing high-value, time-sensitive cargo, the release marks more than a mobile upgrade. It reflects Emerger’s original purpose: giving cargo owners a modern, practical system designed around the realities of project logistics.

Emerger was created by industry professionals who understand those demands from experience. Co-founders Samuel S. Holmes, MBA, CTL and Camille Nabolle, PMP, APICS CSCP both worked for EPCs and project freight forwarders and saw the same problem repeatedly: project teams were being asked to manage increasingly complex freight movements without the visibility, consistency or internal logistics support needed to stay ahead of delays and cost exposure.

In many organizations, shipment status is still pieced together through emails, phone calls, spreadsheets and messaging apps. That may be manageable for standard freight, but it creates risk in project environments where cargo often moves across multiple modes and a missed update can affect schedule, site readiness and cost.

“Today, you can order a ride and track the driver live in transit. Yet project cargo shippers often still have limited visibility of road freight milestones and are forced to rely on WhatsApp messages, emails and phone calls,” said Camille Nabolle, CEO of Emerger. “With the mobile app, we are extending real-time visibility to the phone and making it easier for shippers to see what is happening across their shipments without waiting for updates.”

The app is intended for users who need fast answers in the field, in the office or while traveling between project locations. It allows shippers to monitor road movements in real time and make faster decisions when a shipment is delayed.

“Many shipper teams do not have the time or staffing to operate large, fragmented logistics systems,” said Sam Holmes, co-founder of Emerger. “We built Emerger to give them a simpler, more effective way to manage complex freight with the visibility and support they actually need.”

Built by former EPC and project freight forwarding professionals, Emerger brings execution, tracking, RFQ management and analytics together in one system.
