(Asia) Transport from Korea
Heavy-transport firm FLS Projects has delivered more than 100 packages of heat exchanger components from Korea to Indonesia.
The complex delivery comprised more than 1,500 tonnes of cargo and required close collaboration with transport partners. A team from FLS oversaw all import requirements and testing prior to transport.
“Prior to the delivery to the jobsite, the cargo was brought to a local fabrication yard for modification and testing. This required Ijin Timbun, the permission for temporary storage outside of customs area,” a spokesperson for FLS explained.
Based in Laem Chabang, Thailand, FLS Projects operates offices in Vietnam, Australia, Indonesia and Singapore, and is a member of the industry association XLP Projects.
