60-tonne Units to Karachi Port
Project cargo firm Freight Connection has transported a set of transformers from Shekou Port in China to Karachi Port in Pakistan.
The breakbulk shipment comprised five units, each weighing 60 tonnes. Cargo was transported via a regular liner container vessel and aoded on 13 40-foot high cubes.
“The operation team was at the origin 24/7 to supervise the loading and ensure no damage was reported during loading. All cargo was handed over to the carrier under hook according to the shipment terms,” a spokesperson for Freight Connection Pakistan said.
Freight Connection Pakistan is a member of the breakbulk operator network XL Projects, which represents independent project forwarding and chartering companies in more than 80 countries.
