Vaporizer Delivered to Central North Island
Project cargo firm Freight Traders has delivered an outsized vaporizer unit from Belgium to New Zealand.
Weighing 54 tonnes, the item arrived at the port of Antwerp from the Mediterranean and handled by haulage partner L.C.Van Tiel Logistics. Due to last-minute changes in requirements, the cargo was transhiped to Zeebrugge in Belgium.
“With only hours to transfer, the vaporizer was shuttled between ports and lifted onto another Mafi trailer for shipment to New Zealand. The cargo was cleared for an urgent delivery to station to meet the tight station shut down deadline,” a spokesperson for Freight Traders said.
Freight Traders is a member of the XL Projects, which connects independent project forwarding and chartering firms to move breakbulk cargoes globally.
