(MENA) Transport via Caspian Sea
Cargo carrier Gianti Logistics has transported an outsized piece of fertilizer plant equipment from Georgia to Turkmenistan.
The consignment was loaded at the port of Poti and weighed more than 30 tonnes. Gianti utilized its own 6-axle low-bed trailer to transport the cargo, which measured more than 16 meters long and more than 3 meters in diameters, from Garabogaz to the project site.
“The equipment was destined for a fertilizer plant, which is part of the Garabogaz Fertilizer TGF project being developed by Turkmenhimiya, a Turkmen state-owned company,” a spokesperson for Gianti said.
Based in Tbilisi, Georgia, Gianti Logistics is a member of the Project Logistics Alliance, which represents pre-qualified freight forwarding companies in more than 80 countries.
