Transport Utilizing Special Railway Platforms
Cargo carrier Gianti Logistics has delivered a cargo of industrial equipment in Georgia.
The consignment was transported by both road and rail and included several extremely oversized structures. A team from Gianiti oversaw all preplanning and documentation for the complex move.
“In order to handle the large structures, reach stackers and gantry cranes were used, while special railway transporters and platforms, along with multi-axle hydraulic trailers were put into action for the actual delivery,” a spokesperson for Gianti said.
Based in Tbilisi, Georgia, Gianti Logistics is a member of the Project Logistics Alliance which represents pre-qualified freight forwarding companies in more than 80 countries. Gianti is an exhibitor at Breakbulk Europe.
