Logistics firm Grand Arabia has delivered a cargo of solar power equipment from Aqaba to Al Risha in Jordan.
The breakbulk components were handled on behalf of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in Jordan and delivered to the Al Rishia Solar Project. Scope of work included organizing sea freight, airfreight, customs clearance, and land trucking to the project site.
“Grand Arabia also assisted in obtaining the exemption letter, closing the customs declaration in front of Jordan customs, and issuing the guarantee bond, and releasing the guarantee bond,” a spokesperson for the firm said.
Headquartered in Khalda, Grand Arabia operates offices in both Jordan and Iraq and offers a range of project cargo and heavy-lift services throughout the Middle East.
