Over-dimensional Project Shipment from Kuwait
Transport specialist Gulf Maritime General Trading & Contracting has delivered a project shipment from Kuwait to Bangladesh.
The over-dimensional consignment involved 3,000 tonnes of freight and was shipped onboard a vessel chartered from breakbulk operator BBC. The cargo consisted of self-floating rubber hoses, pontoon, pipes and further accessories.
“The scope of work included collection of the shipment from a storage yard 100 kilometers away from the load port for direct delivery to alongside the vessel,” a spokesperson for Gulf Maritime said.
Based in Kuwait, Gulf Maritime is a member of the WWPC breakbulk association which represents members in 78 countries.
