(Europe) Transport to Duisburg
Freight forwarder HBH Logistics has delivered an outsized material handling machine from Belgium to Germany.
The breakbulk machine weighed 130 tonnes and had maximum extension of 27 meters. It was loaded in Antwerp, Belgium, and transported to Duisburg, Germany.
“For transportation purposes, the crane was partly disassembled. This allowed easier ocean transport to Antwerp and heavy-lift transport to Duisburg within the limitations of the transport permits,” a spokesperson for HBH said.
Headquartered in Stuhr in northern Germany, HBH is a member of the XL Projects association, which connects project cargo carriers worldwide. XLP is an exhibitor at Breakbulk events.
