Firms Merge to Form M-STAR Projects
Logistics firm the Herfurth Group said it has taken over rival M-Star Freight to “optimize and integrate” competencies and know how.
The two firms will consolidate their operations under a new brand called M-STAR Projects with operations in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Turkey.
“M-Star Projects combines 40 years of experience in Projects Logistics with the Herfurth Logistics 120 years of competences, worldwide networks and a proven reputation of reliability. This experience enables M-Star Projects to deliver tailormade solutions in the logistics execution of large scale industrial projects,” a spokesperson for hte new venture said.
Belgian firm Herfurth is based in Antwerp and remains a family-owned buseinss with interests in breakbulk logistics services worldwide.
