The scope spans preventive, predictive, corrective and shutdown maintenance, aimed at ensuring high reliability and operational performance across the complex.
The deal builds on more than a decade of collaboration between the two companies, KBR said, and comes as SATORP pushes ahead with a major expansion of its integrated refining and petrochemicals operations. KBR said it will apply its experience to support commissioning and start-up phases, with a focus on achieving peak plant availability from the outset and driving top-tier performance while managing costs.
“Through this contract with SATORP, KBR reinforces its commitment to driving in-country value and upholding a strong safety culture across all assets,” said Jay Ibrahim, president of KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions unit, pointing to the company’s use of advanced analytics and digital tools to enhance asset performance.
