Mega Project for DV Santos
Cargo carrier KTC Heavy Lift has completed delivery of multiple sets of equipment for a power plant project in Honduras.
The consignment involved transportation of a 75-tonne-capacity Grove TMS875, a 100-tonne-capacity Liebherr LTM 1100, a FTC 50W linkbelt, forklifts, boom trucks and a telhandler. Cargo was delivered to the 55-megawatt Progressive Power Plant in Choloma, Honduras.
“DV Santos hired KTC to handle the unloading [of] everything from containers, to metallic structures radiators, pipelines, and rail cranes. The deal lasted approximately half a year, and KTC is happy to announce that it was a success,” a spokesperson for KTC said.
Based in Honduras, KTC Heavy Lift is a member of the Project Logistics Alliance, which connects pre-qualified project freight forwarding specialists worldwide.
