MAC, Nisshin Ship Santos Cylinder

Freight forwarders MAC Logistic and Nisshin Trans have collaborated on the shipment of industrial cylinder from Yokohama, Japan, to Santos Port in Brazil.

In Japan, Nisshin Trans was responsible for all land operations, delivering the 157-tonne cargo to cargo to Yokohama Port by barge before transfer to roll-on, roll-off vessel operated by Wallenius Lines for sea transportation.

“ a special heavyweight truck was hired with an extendable 19-axle semi-trailer to the final delivery location about 300 kilometers from the port of discharge,” a spokesperson for MAC said.

MAC Logistic and Nisshin Trans are member of the Project Cargo Network, which connects breakbulk operators in more than 100 countries.
