Strengthens Presence in Southwest Germany
Heavy-lift specialist Mammoet has acquired installation and assembly firm Meyer Anlagenbau.
The acquisition strengthens Mammoet’s presence in southwest Germany, and is expected to bolster its position in the heavy installation market. The deal follows a “successful, five-year working relationship” between the two firms.
“In the past, Mammoet’s innovative thinking and global reach, combined with Meyer’s installation expertise and local presence, has delivered highly effective synergies for installation projects across the region. This acquisition extends our strong working relationship,” said Jens Krawczynski, managing director of Mammoet Germany.
Headquartered in Schiedam in the Netherlands, Mammoet provides a range of services from transportation and logistics planning to heavy lift and crane rental.
