Collaborates with Fracht on Porto de Sergipe Move
Heavy-lift engineering firm Mammoet has transported a shipment of machinery to a 1.5 gigawatt combined cycle power plant in Brazil.
The breakbulk consignment was carried out in partnership with freight forwarder Fracht. The components were delivered to the UTE Porto de Sergipe plant, the largest to be built in the region.
“Mammoet’s experience in complex barge roll-offs led to the implementation of a specialized configuration of trailers with longitudinal spacers, which would optimize the capacity at the pier structure,” a spokesperson for Mammoet said.
